Title

What does energy mean?


Behind power and public access to it are hundreds of people at Avacon making it possible each and every day. Following up a company wide image campaign, me and my team wanted to show not only who is behind Avacon as a company but furthermore how the employees relate to each other, collaborate, interact and share their stories.


Concept


In intimate conversations employees were asked to sit down and ask each other a set of questions me and my team have prepared. Those questions couldn't be run of the mill "work-related" topics. I wanted these employees to truly share their energy, bond and get to know each other beyond their name tag.


Visually, the setting adapts company colours via backdrops and lighting without screaming "corporate identity". Using only an iPhone to shoot and focussing on gestures, facial expressions and real moments created an authentic look and feel while still feeling purposeful. This I maintained in the editing style as well. Straight cuts and pans aid the viewer to feel part of the conversation, part of the team.
